Who can play in the ITA Summer Circuit?

Who is eligible to play ITA Summer Circuit tournaments?

The ITA created the Summer Circuit for incoming first-year student-athletes and current collegiate players with tournament competition during the summer months. And because the tournaments operate on the Universal Tennis system, all match results contribute towards a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for each participant.

However, due to NCAA compliance purposes, the events are categorized as “open,” which means anyone — including high-level juniors and adults — can compete in these events as long as they are a current ITA player member.
